We have a nine bay configuration:

  • Bay A00 is a Packaged Core Power Module (PCPM) It houses:
    • The Power Distribution center
    • Two Maintenance Trunk Modules
    • Two Hard Disk Drive Units (DDU)
  • Bay A01 is a Packaged Cord Memory Module (PCMM)
    • Two Data Store Shelves
    • Magnetic Tape Unit (MTU)
  • Bay A02 and Bay A03 are Dual Network Package Cores (DNPC)
    • Central Processor Shelf which contains Program Store
    • One Shelf contains the following
      • Central Message Controller (CMC)
      • Input/Output Controllers (IOC)
      • System Clock
    • Two Shelves of Network Crosspoint interface
  • Bay A04 is a Packages Core Service Module (PCSM)
    • Five Shelves of Service Trunk Modules (STM) - Two per Shelf
    • One Service Trunk Module is the Digital Recorded Announcements
  • Bay A05 is a Package Core Trunk Module (PCTM)
    • Two Shelves of Line and Trunk Controllers (LTC) - Lines
    • Two Shelves of Line and Trunk Controllers (LTC) - 20 T1's
  • Bay A06 is a Package Core Trunk Module (PCTM)
    • Two Shelves of Digital Trunk Controllers (DTC) - 20 T1's
  • Bay B00 is a Packed Core Auxiliary Module (PCAM)
    • One Shelf housing two Service Trunk Modules
    • Two Shelves of Maintenance Trunk Modules
    • Two Distribution Fuse panels.
  • Bay B01 is a Packaged Core Line Module (PCLM)
    • Two Shelves of Line Concentrating Array consisting of 640 Voice Lines (In Use)
    • Two Shelves of Line Concentrating Array consisting of 640 Lines (Not In Use)
