Ordering Publications
The Office of Water distributes documents (at no charge to the customer) through two different Centers: the Water Resource Center (WRC) and the National Service Center for Environmental Publications (NSCEP). Orders for items which the WRC may not have available in stock may be forwarded to NSCEP if copies for distribution are available there.
Documents from the WRC and NSCEP are generally shipped fourth class mail; for expedited shipment, you should contact either Center directly.

EPA will distribute one (1) free copy of each publication to customers as loing as supplies last. Once EPA runs out of copies of a given document, that document is considered to be "out of print." However, customers may still be able to purchase the doucument from one of two organizations: the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) or the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC). These two Federally-sponsored clearinghouses archive copies of Government publications which they offer to the public for a fee.
Under "Availability" you may see the legend "NTIS" or "ERIC" followed by an Order Number. This number is to be used to order the document from its source.

Shipping and Handling:
* A $3.00 handling fee per order applies to orders from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
* For other countries, the handling fee is $4.00.
* Orders are sent first class or equivalent in the United States.
* Orders to other countries are shipped surface mail.
* Air mail is $3.50 per report to Canada and Mexico and $7.50 per report to other countries.
* RUSH ORDERS are guaranteed to be processed within 24 hours and sent by overnight courier. Add $15.00 to the price of each title. Outside U.S., Canada, or Mexico, add $25.00 per title.
