APHA Launces "Elimination of Health Disparities" National Public Health Week
The American Public Health Association (APHA) is sponsoring National Public Health Week
"Eliminating Health Disparities: Communities Moving from Statistics to Solutions," an action
devoted to eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in health care and access to health care.
In conjunction with campaign, APHA has issued "Call For Solutions", a nation-wide effort to
collect and highlight a wide variety of innovative approaches to eliminating health care in an
effort to inspire people to eliminate these disparities.
APHA encourages anyone who is working on health care disparity solutions in the field to visit
www.apha.org and enter their solutions into the National Public
Health Week 2004 database.
