HHS' Office on Women's Health Minority Women presents 2004 Minority Women's Health Summit "Women of Color, Taking Action for a Healthier Life:Progress, Partnerships and Possibilities." The conference, presented with Health Panel of Experts and National Hispanic Medical Association, will take place in Washington, D.C. from August 12 through 15, 2004. Objectives for the 2004 Minority Women's Health Summit include:
This conference will build on the outcomes of the 1997 National Conference "Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Partnerships to Improve Minority Women's Health." Key areas in women's health including cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS will be highlighted.
