MMS Director Johnnie Burton delivered congratulatory remarks at the 24th Annual National Recognition Ceremony for the NEED project. MMS has partnered with the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project for ten years. NEED is a network of students, educators, businesses, government and community leaders working together to promote an energy society. MMS secures ocean energy through environmental stewardship and stringent regulatory controls of the offshore energy industry.
