Marine Resource Management and Ocean Exploration
Emphasized at 2004 Capitol Hill Oceans Week
MMS recently participated in the
2004
Capitol Hill Oceans Week (CHOW), a two day conference
that provides a wide range of information on ocean and coastal issues.
Presenters offered expertise on critical ocean
issues ranging from the importance of marine ecosystems and
multiple uses of oceans resources
to
ocean exploration.
Capitol Hill Oceans Week is presented by the
National
Marine Sanctuary Foundation. MMS is a CHOW Federal
partner along with
NOAA and
EPA.
