            OCS POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING RESCHEDULED (#30016)


     The Department of the Interior's Outer Continental Shelf (OCS)
Policy Committee meeting originally set for April 28 and 29, 1993,
has been rescheduled.  Tentative plans are to hold the meeting
October 20 and 21, 1993.

     Minerals Management Service officials in consultation with the
Chairman of the OCS Policy Committee agreed that a fall meeting
would be more productive in view of the timing of various
programmatic activities and the status of subcommittee work.

     The Policy Committee meeting will be held in the Washington,
D.C., area to facilitate attendance by top level departmental
officials.
