NEWS RELEASE

Albuquerque, New Mexico cancelled; Lakewood, Colorado added

        Due to a scheduling conflict, the Minerals Management Service has cancelled the public workshop on January 19 in Albuquerque, NM, on the supplementary proposed rule for valuing oil produced on Federal lands. The workshop is rescheduled for January 18 in Lakewood, CO. There are no changes to the Houston, TX, and Washington, DC workshops. Advance reservations are not required.

The public workshops locations and dates are:

January 18, 2000, Lakewood, Colorado, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mountain time,
