Resources at CARL

The Combined Arms Research Library  (CARL) collects and maintains a variety of informational resources to support the research needs of  our students, faculty, and the military community at the U.S. Army  Command and General Staff College, and the Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth. The intent of this website is to introduce the resources available at CARL and to extend our services and support to military scholars worldwide by providing access to a selection of our resources.

Our online resources include Finding Aids to many of our archival and special collections; Bibliographies and Special Lists; our Microforms and Periodical lists; Pathfinders designed to introduce some of the resources available at CARL; and  access to selected databases.  The Combined Arms Research Library is also creating a digital library collection where many of our publications,  to include CGSC Annual Reports, Infantry and Cavalry School Lectures, digitized books from our Special Collections, CSI and CGSC Press publications,  are available in full-text.  Our newest collection is the CARL Digital Library via a commercial vendor, ContentDM, which showcases several subject collections in an exciting format.
