The Real Property Disposal Division is responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the development and administration of programs related to the utilization and disposal of federal excess and surplus real property governmentwide. Develops real property asset redeployment and disposal policy. Provides interpretation or guidance on the policy. Develops implementing instruction, tools and conducts training. Partners with National Customer Service Management to develop national strategies for increasing property disposal's client base, establishes partnerships with professional affiliations and establishes national benchmarking standards to ensure that property disposal is “Best in Class”.
