The North Central Forest Pest Workshop (NCFPW) is an annual gathering of persons interested in forest health in the North Central portion of North America. It is usually attended by plant pathologists, entomologists, foresters, and other scientists and students.

Each year the workshop is held in a different location. The main participating States or Provinces take turns hosting. Each year, forest health specialists from the host State or Province develop an organizing committee and plan the meeting.

The organizing committee develops an agenda that usually includes a day and a half of indoor presentations and a full day field trip. Other traditional activities have included fungal foray, poster session, slide contest, fun run and/or ice cream social (depending on the health consciousness of the organizing committee), a banquet and lots of interesting informal discussions.
