RULES FOR ALL CONTESTS:
All entries must be the exclusive, original work of kids in grades Kindergarten
through 12. However, parents/teachers/coaches of children up through 2nd
grade may assist in providing a legible copy of any written work to aid
in the review of their work. Kids may submit original typed materials
instead of handwritten materials. Computer-generated or computer-assisted
work is acceptable provided that the child performed the work only with
a minimum of adult guidance on the use of the computer tools.
Each entry must be submitted with an entry form attached. No fax or e-mail
entries will be accepted. (We have to make sure your parents or guardians
are aware of your participation.)
All entries must be submitted by individuals or teams of no more than
three kids.
A special award category has been established to recognize the best class
participation in contest 2 - Museum Exhibit. The winning class will have
a special on-line web museum display of their work.
Limited to one entry per team or individual per contest. (You may enter
each of the 3 contests open right now!)
Team entries must include names, addresses, phone numbers and parental/guardian
signatures for all team members.
The entry form must be filled out completely and must include the appropriate
parent or guardian signatures.
Any submission that is incomplete or illegible will be disqualified automatically.
No winning entry will be published in any way beyond those identified
below without further permission of contestants and parents or guardians.
A signature on the submission form by the parent or guardian constitutes
authorization to post the submission without identifying the contestant

Pages. Submissions may also be included in a USPTO museum exhibit or press
release, identified in the same manner as for the website to protect confidentiality.

authorization prior to any other exhibition or use.
