Experience the incredible story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804-06 with special
speakers and costumed interpreters year-round and outdoor programs each summer on a bluff
overlooking the Missouri River. View the Missouri River and its abundant wildlife from the
comfort of the Interpretive Center through its riverside windows and panoramic views.
Or walk one of the many trails. The 6,000 square feet of permanent exhibits focus on the
expedition's travels and the Indian tribes who called the Plains and the Pacific Northwest
home. A 30-minute film by acclaimed director Ken Burns introduces you to the land and the
people. Plan at least two hours for your visit.
