Simple Suggestions
Case: The search
engine is not case sensitive. "Stressor" and "stressor" are equivalent.
Use Multiple
Words. Using stressor and pollution (syntax: stressor pollution)
will find pages where these two words occur. The words do not have
to appear together. The space between the two words is an implied
AND operator.
Use Phrases.
To find pages that contain a specific phrase, place the phrase in
parentheses, as in "coral reefs". Multiple words enclosed by quotation
marks are treated as a single search phrase
Use AND
and OR. To find two or more words/phrases that appear on the
same page use the operator AND. To find pages that contain either
one word/phrase or another word phrase, use OR. "coral reefs" AND
seagrass; "coral reefs" OR seagrass. The AND/OR (and companion NAND/NOR)
operators are not case sensitive.
