Veterans of the Battle of Midway

The Senior Archivist at the Naval Historical Center, maintains a database of some 550 veterans of the Battle of Midway. The data include the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and units to which they were attached during the battle for many of the veterans. The database can be made available to official government activities that are planning Midway commemoration events and want to invite veterans to attend or may be interested in obtaining a veteran to speak at their event.

Because of privacy issues, the database cannot be given out to non-government sources. However, if one is looking for the names of veterans to contact, permission can be obtained from the veteran first, then the names and addresses of those veterans that agree to be contacted can be given out to private sources.
