    Annual Percentage Yield Calculation Program for Windows (APY)

    TThe Windows-based version of the Annual Percentage Yield program (APY v. 1.0) is an efficient tool for verifying annual percentage yields pursuant to the Truth in Savings Act (12 U.S.C. 4301 et seq.) and its implementing regulation (Regulation DD, 12 CFR 230). 

    The APY program is available for purchase for $20 or free by download.

    Although great care has been taken in the preparation of this APY program, the OCC makes no warranty of complete accuracy. Further, the OCC does not recommend this program over other methods to calculate annual percentage yields.

    Download the program

    To download for just your machine or for distribution over your network - use the single-file version. (Note:  The file size is approximately 260 kilobytes.)

    1. Download one compressed file (APYINSTALL.EXE) to a temporary folder on your hard drive.
    2. Execute APYINSTALL.EXE to extract the files to the folder on your hard drive from which you will be running the APY program.
      1. WinZip Self-Extractor program will inform you that it will unzip the file to a particular folder on your hard drive. Click the BROWSE button if you want to select a different folder to unzip the files to.
      2. Click the UNZIP button.
      3. After the files are unzipped, click the CLOSE button.
    3. To run the program, execute APY.EXE from the folder that you unzipped the APY program files to.
