The resources of the Outer Continental Shelf include oil, gas, sulphur, sand and gravel.  The estimation of the undiscovered potential resources, oil and gas production, reserve estimates of established fields, and policy and management issues concerning sand and gravel are available as links from this page.

Deep Shelf Gas - beginning in 2001, MMS adopted incentives that would encourage drilling for deeper deposits of natural gas in shallow waters.
