Improper airflow can result in equipment failure, high energy bills and poor comfort. At the minimum, airflow across indoor coils should be checked and adjusted if necessary. Oversized equipment will increase your customer's costs and reduce comfort. Ensure proper sizing by completing an ACCA Manual J load calculation.

  • Maintain your customer's system. A well-maintained system will ensure that they get the most out of their home heating and cooling investment.

  • Seal your customer's ducts. Leaky air ducts can decrease the overall efficiency of a heating and cooling system by as much as 20%. Inspect and test duct system for leakage and offer customer repairs recommendations.
