The Alaska Region will be continuously adding images to this library. We are in the process of gathering more images from remote areas of the state. Our extensive collection of slides and photos covers birds, animals, plants, places and people of the Alaska Refuge system.

The images in our library are all public domain. You can download and use for your pleasure or projects. Please be kind enough to give photographer credit for the image. If the photographer is unknown, please give our library credit as the source.

Our images are scanned at 5 x 7 inch jpg, 150 dpi. This format and size should be satisfactory for all but high quality printing. If you are a magazine, newspaper or author who has special format, size, and resolution needs, contact us by clicking the link to the left.
