Note: U.S. resident population estimates for sex, race, and Hispanic origin were made using a U.S. Census Bureau internet release, December 23, 1999, with adjustments for census undercount. Estimates for 2000-2003 are based on the 2000 Census and then estimated for July 1 of each year.
