DFAS Dayton
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service - Dayton, was activated on June
2, 1995. Directed by Joan A. Causey,
DFAS Dayton is located in the Kettering City Business Park (formerly Gentile
Air Force Station) in Kettering, Ohio.
DFAS Dayton provides base-level finance and accounting services to:
- Air Force
- Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC)
- Air National Guard (ANG) installations and sites throughout the United
States
Services include vendor pay, supply and medical accounting, Security
Assistance accounting, travel accounting, accounts receivable, appropriated
funds accounting and reporting, and disbursing.
Dayton's mission is to provide quality accounting, financial and administrative
services to our Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, and commercial
customers; develop innovative business practices in partnership with our
customers, continuously improve service and productivity; value our associates;
and create an environment that instills pride, professionalism, integrity
and teamwork.
