FHWA offers transportation practitioners a variety of information resources to provide the background knowledge to help make work zones work better. These resources include information on work zone regulations and policy, pertinent work zone facts and statistics, links to other work zone-related web sites, and relevant publications and studies available for download.

Regulation and Policy:

An inventory of work zone mobility safety facts and statistics that can be used to support transportation practitioners in developing key message points for speeches, papers, presentations, and outreach efforts.

National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse:
The National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse maintains an extensive roadway construction safety “cyberlibrary.” It contains searchable databases on safety practices, techniques, products, and services.
