The Agricultural Research Service (ARS), one of the Research, Education and
Economics (REE) agencies, is the main
in-house research arm of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This program is compatible with the
objectives of the Energy Policy Act of 1992, the Administration's Climate
Change Action Plan and Sustainable Development efforts, and FAIR's provision
of the farmer's opportunity for diversified production.
