Human and Social Dynamics (HSD)

The Directorate for Engineering is considering funding activities that foster breakthroughs in knowledge about human action and development. This might include organizational, cultural, and societal adaptation and change. There is interest in :

• Increasing our ability to anticipate the complex consequences of change.
• Understand the dynamics of human and social behavior
• Better understand the cognitive and social structures that create and define change.
• Help people and organizations better manage profound or rapid change.
