The 2004 Naval-Industry R&D
Partnership Conference, Naval Research in the
21st Century: Dilemmas and Solutions, will continue
to explore the acceleration of the Discovery to
Deployment process. Naval Power 21 reflects the Navy/Marine
Corps strategy to meet the nation's global security
demands and forms a crucial part of our nation's
joint force concept. This conference cultivates
partnerships between Government, Industry and Academia
to address cultural barriers and to leverage each
other's innovative concepts, technologies and business
practices to address Naval Power 21 and global
security requirements.
