MMS co-sponsored DEA Workshop On Technology Advances
Workshop will focus on technology advances in drilling operations arena. Drilling Engineers Association will hold this workshop on May 24-25, 2005, in Galveston, Texas. The workshop will center on examination of cutting-edge technologies that are often in their infancy. It is designed to serve as a forum for consideration and dissemination of new ideas aimed at improving drilling efficiencies and safety.

MMS co-sponsored IADC Workshop On Offshore Logistics
Workshop will focus on offshore transportation, job transfer of equipment, movement of personnel and facility security management. This workshop will be held by IADC on April 11-12, 2005, in Lafayette, Louisiana. This is an area of great importance to both the industry and public sectors, given the need for enhanced security and industry’s desire to increase safety in personnel and materials handling.
