How Are Trade Leads Collected and Distributed?

International buyers are able to source U.S. food and agricultural products quickly, efficiently and free of charge through the Trade Leads system.

Inquiries from international buyers are collected by FAS overseas office and sent to FAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.  FAS Washington headquarters then disseminates the Trade Leads via e-mail to registered export agents, trade associations, and U.S. companies on a daily basis

After receiving the Trade Lead, U.S. suppliers may then contact prospective international buyer directly.
