National Institutes of Health

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention are soliciting proposals from small business concerns that possess
the research and development (R&D;) expertise to conduct innovative research
that will contribute toward meeting the program objectives of the agencies.
The agencies involved in this solicitation are National Institute on Alcohol
Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA, NIH); National Cancer Institute (NCI, NIH);
National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK, NIH);
National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA, NIH); National Institute of
Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS, NIH); National Heart, Lung, and Blood
Institute (NHLBI, NIH); National Institute of Neurological Disorders and
Stroke (NINDS, NIH); National Center for Research Resources (NCRR, NIH), and
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This is not the Request for
Proposals (RFP); the RFP must be downloaded from the NIH Web Site, which will
be available in late August or early September at the following address:
<http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/sbir.htm>. The due date for proposal
submission is November 5, 1999.
