We invite you to partner with us to raise awareness about
this year's National Child Health Day/Month, October 4, 2004.
This year's theme, Eat Healthy, Move More: Partnering
with Families to Prevent Childhood Overweight/Obesity,
emphasizes the importance of engaging children and families
in your community in activities and dialogue surrounding the
prevention of childhood overweight/obesity.
The Health
Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) Maternal and
Child Health Bureau (MCHB) has produced the following National
Child Health Day/Month Web materials to help you reach out
to children and families in yoru community and spread the
Eat Healthy, Move more message:

Guide to help you plan events and conducting media outreach
- History
of National Child Health Day
- Clip
art for use in developing your own Child Health Day
materials

information
On behalf
of HRSA and MCHB, thank you for partnering with us this year
