Roger D. Golden PME Achievements
PME School or Institution: Air War College
Period of Report: 29 Jul 2002 - 2 Jun 2003
  • Extraordinary gifted writer—consistently recognized as seminar’s best—AF Counterproliferation Center publishing his research paper; AWC Maxwell Papers publishing his regional studies paper on Japan
  • Winner of the General Charles A. Horner Award, a joint USAF Counterproliferation Center/HQ USAF award, recognizing the most original contribution to the understanding of counterproliferation issues, for his in-depth research paper entitled “The Threat of Bioterrorism from Domestic US Terrorist Groups”
 
Richard G. Freeman PME Achievements
PME School or Institution: Naval War College
Period of Report: 6 Aug 2002 - 20 Jun 2003
  • Wrote a research paper entitled, “Pentagon – Juggling The Pieces,” published in the Naval War College Review.
  • Received the prestigious James V. Forrestal Award for winning a force planning exercise which formulated a national military strategy and force structure.
 
Mary K. Lindsey PME Achievements

Nancy J. Balkus PME Achievements

  • Ms. Balkus selection of the Information Strategies Concentration Program set her apart, and indicated a special desire to broaden her professional experience.  And she took the challenge.  She was selected as “best in seminar,” in her courses on Global Enterprise Networking and Telecommunications, Managing Security in a Networked Environment, and in her course on Assuring the Information Infrastructure. In the last class, her instructor noted, she “clearly excelled in all aspects of the course…she grasped the complexities of the information age issues associated with our dependence on information systems and technology.”
