Staffing & Budget
The Drug Enforcement Administration is a component
of the Department of Justice, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
the U.S. Marshals Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms,
and others. It is headed by an Administrator who is appointed by the
President and confirmed by the Senate.
