Welcome to CM/ECF
updated October 16, 2003.
What is CM/ECF?
CM/ECF stands for Case Management/Electronic Case Filing. Case
Management, CM, is the Judiciary's new case management system.
ECF, Electronic Case Filing, will allow attorneys and others
the ability to file and view court documents via the Internet.
ECF will be phased in. Various ECF pilot users will begin to use
the system October, 2003. Upon the conclusion of the pilot period,
approximately 60 to 90 days, use of ECF will be made available
to all. Prior to accessing ECF all users will be required to attend
court administered training.
CM/ECF Web Page
The CM/ECF web page will be presented when the "Continue"
button below is selected. The CM/ECF page will be the court's
primary means of communicating CM/ECF Project information.
Information discussing project status, computer based training
(CBT) modules, hardware/software requirements and frequently asked
questions (FAQ's), are available on the CM/ECF page.
Access to a CM/ECF Bulletin Board Service (BBS) is also provided
on the CM/ECF page. Its purpose is to solicit questions and provide
answers in a fashion that allows others to participate and follow
along. Detailed information regarding access and use of the BBS
is available on the CM/ECF BBS page.
