Don Cole
M.B.A., M.P.A.
Don earned his B.A. in History and Biology at Charleston Southern University, his M.B.A. from Webster University, and his M.P.A. from The American University. Recent educational endeavors include the Federal Executive Institute and Harvard University National Security Program for Senior Officials. He was also selected as a Legislative Fellow. Don is currently the Deputy Director of Fleet Maintenance for CINCLANTFLT. In this position he supports the Atlantic Fleet's Surface Ships, Submarines, and Aviation initiatives. He has served the Navy as a Senior Executive Service member in this position since 1997. Previously he served as part of the original design and implementation team for the Project Management College, a change mechanism program to move the orientation of the Navy industrial organization from a functional stovepipe management system to project management that focuses on teams. Don served as the Civilian Executive of the Corpus Christi Army Depot which is the largest industrial employer in South Texas and the world's largest helicopter repair facility. In his role at the Depot, he led the organizational change to affect a competitive environment to meet the needs of customers from the Department of Defense, private industry, and foreign countries.
