Planning for Leadership Excellence The Leadership Assessment Program (LAP) is an intensive, five-day program designed to meet the needs of individuals who wish to move into leadership roles or who are in the initial phases of management careers. Students complete personal assessment inventories, personality/temperament profiles, a case study analysis, and participate in various problem-solving activities. Multi-rater feedback (360-degree feedback) and feedback from assessment professionals, combined with opportunities for self-observation (via videotaped sessions), are integral aspects of the program. These activities are set in the context of a broad range of Leadership Competencies, as assessment center specialists assist participants in identifying strengths, opportunities for improvement, and areas for continued learning. At the program's end, participants use new insights to create a personal learning plan for continued leadership growth.
