USGS Frequently Asked Questions

Question: When I import SDTS Digital Line Graphs (DLGs) into ARC/INFO, they are thousands of feet apart. Why?

Answer:

Each 1:100,000-scale SDTS file has four tiles of data. Use sdtsinfo to get information about the files and then run sdtsimport for each tile in that file.
