Question: Where are zebra mussels from?

Answer:

Zebra mussels are native to fresh water rivers and lakes in Eastern Europe and western Asia. In 1769, Pallas first described populations of this species from the Caspian Sea and Ural River in Russia. For more information, click http://nas.er.usgs.gov/zebra.mussel/
