LINK provides a portal to multiple logistics information systems operated by the Military Services, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and the General Services Administration (GSA).  With LINK, you can get real-time catalog data and visibility of wholesale, retail, and excess assets in the Services and DLA inventories. You can also track the status of your requisitions with LINK.

You can get the following logistics information through LINK:

  • Item identification and supplier data from DLA’s Logistics Remote Users Network (LOGRUN)
  • DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD) information from DLA’s Defense Automatic Addressing System Center Inquiry (DAASINQ)
  • Excess stock levels at Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices (DRMO’s) from DLA’s Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS)

More Information About the Databases Available Through LINK

AFMC TRACKER -- Air Force Materiel Command’s system that provides detailed history of actions taken to process requisitions with emphasis placed on the flight line base level user.

Army LIDB -- Army Logistics Integrated Data Base provides status of requisitions, management reports on supply support, and stock levels at the major commands.

DAASINQ -- Defense Automatic Address System Center Inquiry System provides information on DoD Activity Address Codes (DODAAC), Routing Identifier Codes (RIC), and Communication Routing Identifiers (COMMRI).

DILNet Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) Inventory Locator Network provides DSCP visibility of our vendor’s total inventory for commodities that we typically buy (WEBLINK).

DRMS -- Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service gives visibility of excess stock available from Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices worldwide.

DSSDistribution Standard System checks requisition status and gives shipping information from DLA supply centers and via Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD).

LOGRUN -- Logistics Remote Users Network gives information on millions of items of supply in the U.S. Government inventory, and contractors who do business with the DoD.

LIPS -- Logistics Information Processing System provides requisition, supply, and shipping status on all requisitions routed through the DAAS. You can identify requisitions submitted, backordered, canceled, in process, and shipped for an activity.

GSA MUFFIN -- General Service Administration Multi-Use File for Interagency News provides status on FEDSTRIP requisitions and contract/Federal Supply Schedule information.

NAVICP Navy Inventory Control Point provides information about assets, backorders, part numbers, procurements, repair schedule, and alternate NIIN (WEBLINK).

SAMMS/BSM -- Standard Automated Materiel Management System/Business Systems Modernization provides inventory and supply management data from the DLA Supply Centers. SAMMS shows assets on hand and due in, requisition status, backorders, reports of discrepancy, contract buy history, forecasted demand, DLA items Points of Contact, and Item Manager notes.

SCS - Air Force/Marines Stock Control System provides information on item management and cataloging data, stock on hand, due in, and status of requisitions (WEBLINK).

SNAPSHOT -- provides information about items managed by the Navy, including inventory management information, stock status, part number information, and alternative items.

THF -- Transaction History File is a database managed by the Navy that displays a history of requisitions (document numbers) that have been processed against a particular National Item Identification Number (NIIN).

USAF SCS (D035) – United States Air Force Stock Control System gives you information about items managed by the Air Force. You can get item management and cataloging data, stock on hand, due in assets, and status of requisitions.

USMC SCS – United States Marine Corps Stock Control System provides requisition and wholesale stock status information.

VMSIR -- Virtual Master Stock Inventory Record shows retail stock available at Navy sites.

WEBVLIPS – WEB Virtual Logistics and Information Processing System is a web based, access controlled query system that is useable from any Internet attached PC.  It accesses the Logistics On-line Tracking System (LOTS), a DAASC relational database system, which portrays the life cycle of a logistics action.

WPS -- Worldwide Port System (WPS), operated by the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC), tracks military cargo through common-user ocean ports. You can get current shipment status by submitting a TCN or container number.
