| Carl Truxel, a teacher at Dulaney High School in Baltimore County Maryland building a Surgical Robotic simulator that can be used in high school Technology Education Classes. The simulator is modeled after those developed by the Johns Hopkins NSF Engineering Research Center for Computer Integrated Surgical Systems and Technology. The simulator is built out of materials that are readily available to local schools. Mr. Truxel also has created an Engineering and Design course for Baltimore County that has over 25 students enrolled in his class in 2003. |
