REU Scholars (left to right) Alan Tomo, Shirin Haji-mohammad, and Simon Halbur work on the real-time remotely controlled actuator/robot testbed at the University of Texas/Arlington's Automation & Robotics Research Institute. Alan works on the system interface for different type of robots; Shirin designed and analyzed the compensation of actuators with saturation; and Simon worked on the development of a wireless testbed for the remote actuator.
