• CIVPOL: International Civilian Police
  An unofficial web site (not affiliated with the United Nations) that provides links to the archived United Nations Civilian Police in Kosovo and the current UNMIK Civilian Police, as well as e-mail messaging and related web links.
  
  
• The Pearson Peacekeeping Centre
  An independent organization established by the Government of Canada in 1994 and funded, in part, by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and by the Department of National Defence, its web site provides information and links on research, education and training in all aspects of peacekeeping.
  
  
• Peace Operations Policy Program (POPP), George Mason University
  The Peace Operations Policy Program seeks "to understand the use of military, humanitarian, and political forces in the conduct of multinational peace operations." The web site describes the program, faculty, and links to other peacekeeping resources.

• IFOR
  This archive of all information relating to peacekeeping efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the NATO-led Implementation Force (IFOR - Operation Joint Endeavour (Dec. 20, 1995 - Dec. 20, 1996) includes basic documents, press releases, maps and photographs and links to related UN documents.

  Covers the role of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in peacekeeping in Bosnia and Herzegovina following IFOR, with a history, fact sheet, articles and photographs on the NATO-led Stabilization Force (SFOR) which includes Operation Joint Guard (Dec. 21, 1996 - June 19, 1998) and Operation Joint Force (June 20, 1998 -).

  Information about the civilian implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement. The General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, full text of the Dayton Peace Agreement, can be found here as well as in the U.S. Institute of Peace Library's Peace Agreement Digital Collection. Annex 11 of the General Framework Agreement details the establishment of the International Police Task Force (IPTF).

  The web site for this UN mission for East timor, now called Timor-Leste, describes the mission's mandate , provides background information, news and press releases, documents which include Security Council Resolutions and reports, a map and fact sheet. After an August 1999 election for independence in East Timor, the UN established UNTAET: United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor, "to administer the Territory, exercise legislative and executive authority during the transition period and support capacity-building for self-government.
