O*NET 98: Keeping Pace with
Today's Changing Workplace

From the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration. Contains occupational information about skills, knowledge, abilities, work activities, interests, work values, and occupation-specific tasks for over 1,100 occupations. Other features include occupational classification system that links to the Occupational Employment System; capability to locate occupations through skill requirements and keywords; and electronic linkages that crosswalk O*NET occupational titles to eight other classification systems, including MOS and OPM.

PC Requirements: 486DX or Pentium PC; 16MB RAM; 20MB free hard-drive space; and Windows 3.1 (or later). Database files may be installed separately using 12MB to 53MB hard-drive space. Database files are available in dBase 4, Paradox 5, and Access 2 versions.

Mac Requirements: Not supported.
