National Hospital Discharge Survey (1979-97)

Published by the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health -- National Center for Health Statistics. Contains multi-year data files containing all records for the 1979 to 1997 data years. These data files provide access to NHDS data for the years in which the 9th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM), has been used for coding medical diagnoses and procedures.
