Playing for a large crowd of press and visitors, the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps march across the South Lawn during the State Arrival Ceremony. Waving little flags of our two neighboring nations, future VIP's watch the ceremonies.
Members from the nation's armed services stand at attention with all the state flags along the drive leading up to the White House. As a breeze unfurls the two nation's flags, Laura Bush and Martha Sahagun de Fox stand at attention.
Presidents Bush and Fox review the troops during the day's ceremonies. Presidents Bush and Fox embrace during the ceremonies. "This is a recognition that the United States has no more important relationship in the world than the one we have with Mexico," said President Bush. "Good neighbors work together and benefit from each other's successes."
