The instructor represents 18 years experience in software development, documentation, acquisition, and planning. He has applied the processes and methods covered by DoD-STD-2167A and DoD-STD-7935A to formal software development within the Department of Defense. His experience includes software development for weapon systems, command and control systems, and Information Management systems.

Description

J-STD-016-1995 is the commercial version of MIL-STD-498. This half-day seminar provides an introduction to MIL-STD-498 and J-STD-016-1995 with perspective on their relationship to DOD-STD-2167A, the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), and acquisition reform.
