In addition to coordinating media relations and congressional outreach, the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs arranges for Institute staff and fellows to interact in numerous ways with constituencies interested in their work.
Events
The Institute holds frequent public events on various issues related to international conflict prevention, management, and resolution. For a schedule of events and information on attending them or viewing them online, please see the Institute's Events page.
Site Visits
The Institute welcomes student and professional groups interested in learning about the Institute's work. To inquire about opportunities for visits, please e-mail us at publicaffairs@usip.org. Please provide the name and a description of your group or organization, the topic you would like addressed, the date and time of the session, and the specialist with whom you would prefer to meet. This same information can also be faxed to (202) 429-6063. Please also include your full contact information (name, phone, fax, e-mail, and mailing address) along with your site visit request.
Speakers Bureau
The Office of Congressional and Public Affairs schedules speaking engagements by Institute staff and fellows. If you are interested in inviting one of them to speak to your group or organization, please e-mail us at publicaffairs@usip.org. USIPeace Briefings
The Institute produces occasional briefing papers by in-house specialists that analyze current international issues or summarize working group events, current issues briefings, roundtable sessions, and other public meetings.

Listservs
The Institute maintains several listservs to disseminate news and information.
- Religion and Peacemaking
The Religion and Peacemaking List is a private-moderated forum in which issues, news, activities, and trends pertaining to religion and peacemaking are discussed.
- Virtual Diplomacy
The Virtual Diplomacy List is a private-moderated list that presents issues, ideas, and conference agendas related to the impact of new information and communications technologies on international conflict management.
Mailing List
We welcome your interest and expertise, and encourage you to join our regular mailing list, so that we may send you advisories tailored to your specific interests, a subscription to Peace Watch, and occasional copies of reports sent via the U.S. Postal Service.
