New Enrollment Cards for Enrolled Agents with Social Security Numbers ending in 7, 8, or  9 (and foreign citizens without a social security number)

Your current enrollment card sets forth an expiration date of March 31, 2005.  Subsequent to the issuance of your card, the Circular 230 regulations were changed.  The regulations implemented a staggered renewal schedule based on the last digit of your social security number and extended the expiration date of your enrollment to March 31, 2006.  This office will begin issuing new enrollment cards to all enrolled agents with Social Security Numbers ending in 7,8 or 9 (and foreign citizens without a social security number) reflecting the correct expiration date.  We expect to have the new cards mailed out by August 16, 2004; there will be no fee for this extension.
