The Guide to Specialists is intended as a resource for journalists, civic organizations, policymakers, and others who need or want expert information on regional and international affairs topics. Specialists listed include permanent staff members of the Institute and senior fellows of the Jennings Randolph Program for International Peace.
The guide features an alphabetical list of specialists; lists of specialists sorted by both topical area and geographic region of expertise; and biographical profiles (including background, expertise, languages spoken, and print quality photo downloads) for each specialist.
All staff and fellows listed in the guide maintain offices at the Institute, although some fellows work mostly at home or elsewhere.

In the event that no Institute specialists are able or available to respond to queries, the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs maintains an extensive list of foreign
policy experts outside the Institute.
Views expressed by staff and fellows are their own and should not be attributed to the Institute itself. As an independent, federally funded, non-partisan organization, the Institute does not advocate particular policies or take positions on issues.
