Office Of The Regional Director
Patricia G. Arcuri, Acting Regional Director for Region III, leads
a staff of more than 80 full-time employees and a cadre of approximately
370 on-call Disaster Assistance Employees available to support the
region's activities during a Presidential Disaster Declaration.
The Office of the Regional Director directly oversees the external
affairs function and the staff of Federal Coordinating Officers
assigned to field positions following a Presidential Disaster Declaration.
The regional staff is further organized into four divisions: Federal
Insurance and Mitigation; Readiness, Response and Recovery; National
Preparedness and Administration and Resource Planning.
