The NETWARS team is using a new, automated system for reporting problems or requesting
assistance. Users no longer need to fill out a paper Trouble Report Form.
There are several ways to report a problem or request assistance:
- If you have an account, you can log into the NETWARS Website
(http://www.netwars.disa.mil), select "How can we help you," then "Tech Support New Case."
The next screen is a form to fill out information about your system and problem. This
information will be used to log a new Tech Support case in the Technical Support Tracking
System.
- You can e-mail your request / problem to netwars@opnet.com. Your e-mail will be logged
into the NETWARS Technical Support Tracking System.
- You can call: (240) 497-3313, extension 2699. The voice mail is checked at least once a day.
All three of these methods will result in your case being entered into the NETWARS Technical
Support Tracking System. Upon review, the case will be assigned to a tech support engineer who
will contact you for more information, or with possible solutions.
You can also track your reports if you have an account on the NETWARS Website. From the
main screen, select "How can we help you," then "Tech Support Existing Cases". Users can see
their tech support cases, as well as those from others in their group.
If a Tech Support case spawns a Software Problem Report, users can track this as well. From the home page, select "Personalized Tech Support" then "My Software Problem Reports." This will list the reports submitted, and show the current status of the report. The report ID number is useful when talking to the NETWARS team about your report.
If you have any additional questions, please contact NETWARS Configuration Manager via phone (703) 377-5066 or email at NETWARS_Configuration_Manager@ncr.disa.mil.
