This page allows you to control some of the features on our web site. From here, you can switch the dynamic HTML
menus at the top of the pages on or off, and you can make the color of link text darker. We use a "cookie"
to remember your preferences during your current and subsequent visits to the NSF web site.
Another great way to customize your NSF experience is to sign up for the Custom News Service. The Custom News Service is
an email- and web-based alert service that will notify you when new NSF publications are released that match your specific interests.

In order to remember your preferences from page to page, this page sets a "cookie"
that can be read only by the NSF web server. The cookie contains no personal information about you, nor can
it be read by servers other than www.nsf.gov. NSF does not retain any information about the
customization options you select. You do not have to accept
the cookie if you choose not to use these customization options.
NSF's policy on "cookies" prohibits NSF web sites from setting
